Pehchaan—a word that means ‘to recognise’—embodies our mission: to recognise the urgent need to educate every child, regardless of their financial background. For over nine years, we’ve championed education as a fundamental right that should be accessible to all children who are eager to learn. But our vision goes beyond just advocacy. In a system where education has become increasingly institutionalized and commodified, access to both academic and vocational learning remains out of reach for many underprivileged children. Through our street school, we strive to dismantle these barriers and bring meaningful learning opportunities to those who need them most.
